Our cat has been traumatised with fireworks going off every evening since Halloween. Then we were horrified to realise a neighbours dog had been locked outside all evening on the 5th and barked with fear for about 4 hours. Dreadful.

My little dog is terrified every year with the fireworks going off. They don't just go off on bonfire night but a couple of weeks before and after. She is obviously not the only pet with these fears. Also reckless people do dangerous things with fire causing danger to other people. I truly believe fireworks should only be used at public displays and be banned from being sold to the general public anywhere.

I am signing as fireworks get into the wrongs hands and they are lit to scare animals and sometimes attatched to poor innocent animals. nasty humans thinking it's fun so I agree they should be only sold to events.

Ban them or at least take the noise out. You never know when they will go off as people use them anytime.

Organised displays are great, but stop the mindless odiots with no consideration for others safety or fear.

Organised displays with less excessively loud sounds that shake the planet would be the answer with some of the proceeds going to charities as it's cruel for animals that are both wild, domestic and farm reared

I think it's about time. I love fireworks but my pets are terrified and it's not fair. We just need to have some rules, only on bonfire night, only organised and only up until a certain time

My dog had a wire around hus neck as he tried to hide under a table the he got his leg trapped also trying to hide when kids let a firework off in the street. I am on a main bus route so the person could have been hurt..
