You guys are so childish, grow up. If you want to be favorited by the directors, practice and talk to them more. If you're not willing to do that, keep your mouth shut. And about midwest, if you made the band and you signed this, you are extremely stupid. Seniors worked for 3 years in wind ensemble trying to achieve making midwest and they would kill someone to be able to be in the band. Meanwhile, you're just there complaining anyways. Be grateful of what you have been given to you and stop being so damn salty.

I was mastering the fidget spinner but then i heard about this outrageous discrimination. I just wanted to say the following. I believe people shouldn't be chosen based on favoritism! Although some directors might say "oh its because i see potential in him/her, how 'bout giving the position to someone who already reached their potential. The people who are supposed to be chosen are people who fought hard to get to where theyre at, not the people who were just chosen without a sweat. Sowwy but its true!

it feels like every decision in the program favors the favorites and not people who actually deserve it.

I'm highly dissapointed in where music has gone. Petitions? How low have we gotten to where true art no longer reigns free. Make music great again.

Life isn't fair, whoever started this petition is super childish and in for a rude awakening in life. And to all the people who signed this petition/commented anonymously at least have some balls and stand up for what you think is right. If you can't handle the directors decisions then you clearly don't belong in the Midwest emsemble, you would just hold everyone back with your negativity. And at least have some respect for your elders, cuz I hope your parents raised you better than that.
