Recently ebay made some changes to payment types in which only paypal can now be used as a payment method, no checks, etc. I believe this violates both the commerce, and the obligation of contract clauses, in addition it also seems to violate anti-competition laws, by arbitrarily requiring an ebay company as the only means of payment, one in which forces a seller to accept a fee under contract to get paid. ebay has no competition in the payment industry now, and prevents a method of payment to a seller that does not require a fee. In 2002, Ebay bought paypal and removed any other form of payment through their company other than through themselves. This breaks the Banking Laws and The FDIC act. eBay/Paypal is acting as an independent bank and it doesn't have a bank charter Article I, Section 10. "No State shall . . . emit Bills of Credit..." Paper that was intended to circulate as money but was not redeemable in gold and silver was technically described as bills of credit. We urge our constituents in Washington to STOP the Monopoly which is Ebay/Paypal, and force them to accept what is legal tender in the US.
