There's enough in this area that needs to be improved. Please don't add any more negativity to what can still be a beautiful place to live

This has to stop !The neighborhood should be improving and growing for all to have a better life. What consideration is given to the hard-working residents? ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!

I have already witnessed a woman in house slippers urinating on B116th St, I have had multiple people asking for money on the streets and I could go on. New buildings are going up in that area but businesses are moving out and some have been empty since Sandy. Our real estate taxes keep going up yet we still have only one hospital for the entire peninsula but plenty of government facilities for people who urinate on the street and panhandle. We have eroding beaches and 6 years after Sandy many of us still have only blue mats to get cling to get onto those beaches. Again, I could go on. This new project seems like a sabotaging tactic, or perhaps worse, sheer indifference by politicians, that will prevent this peninsula from developing into the thriving community it should be. Instead of looking forward to improvements it looks like it might be time to look into moving out of an area that the city apparently doesn't care about.

Rockaway is not the right place to house these residents, they need to be closer to the city and medical facilities and jobs.

The people of the Rockaways have suffered enough! Why are they always getting dumped on?

Rockaway has done it’s fair share to assist the homeless community this Shelter is unacceptable it is on a block with children and within 2 blocks of several schools. Do not allow this.
