Stop Dublin Port from turning away cruise ships from 2021 and turning away international cruise companies who want to call Dublin a home port.

Tourism bodies should have been consulted.
What does Bord Failte say to this decision ?
Other shipping traffic should be directed to Arklow, Rosslare, or Waterford allowing MORE cruises additional berthing in Dublin which is the Capital City for ALL Ireland & not just a port for Dublin.

This a crazy and short sighted decision, the port might be busy now with freight but when the next downturn comes the cruise liners will be required to keep some employment going and much needed revenue coming in.

I find it totally amazing that a decision like this can be made and no government intervention. The revenue, in many forms, that is generated in Ireland by having these fantastic cruise ships visiting our shores is fantastic. Limiting Dublin will also have a adverse effect on the rest of the ports visited.
