Let's use some common sense on this matter. Protect this critical, fragile, important part of our ecosystem. Let's use our legs not our wheels to view this great gift from Mother Nature.

Ruining our beautiful beach! You allowed this with no public restrooms or trash disposal … someone needs to go to jail

Beach driving is dangerous for the people who are enjoying the beach and it is wrecking the beach itself with tire marks and ruts..what is the plan for turtle season?

I would love to enjoy the beach without having to search for a place between, behind or in front of a vehicle to sit or constantly looking over my shoulder fearful that one of those huge trucks is going to run over me.

Resident of the south end of Amelia Island. Concerned for the safety of our children on the beach and the welfare of the ecosystem (sea turtles, dunes, etc). Driving on the beach has significant negative and dangerous impacts to our community and environment.

Driving on beach is very dangerous to the many children who enjoy running and playing on our beaches!

Beach driving will ruin the beach nourishment that we as residents pay for in our property tax. It also has caused some sales to fall through and it lowers our property value

We must protect the integrity of our beaches as well as ensure safety for wildlife and beachgoers, including children who run free… with sometimes very little awareness of their surroundings. With the development happening at the south end of the island, there is the possibility of unmanageable traffic on our beaches. We must not allow this intrusion to disrupt the peace and safety of our beaches!!!

Hard to believe allowing a car free for all could occur on our preserved beaches. This is a real tragedy. My husband and I are opposed to car beach driving.
