Dove kills trees! I am talking millions of trees for palm oil! Every hour 4,500 acres of forest fall to chain saws which is equivalent to 2,250 football fields! The net loss of the world's forests is estimated at 18 million acres per year and Dove contributes the most to that loss than any other company. It is hard to think that there was a time when 90% of the earth was covered by trees. Today, 30% of the earth is now covered by trees. Killing trees have a negative impact on our climate, ecosystem, and future. Every tree is home to at least 100 animals. Compare that to YOUR neighborhood, as far as how devastating it would be to lose 100 homes. The 'neighborhood' will take 100 years to get back to where it was the day before you destroyed it.
