This is ridiculous say NO to any more FEES I would agree that our landfills should only be free for douglas county residents not every tom dick and Harry from the bigger areas where they have all passed fees and now use our landfills to dump there stuff at! Would not cost anything to have one of our community workers that are supposed to be paying a debt back to the community to sit their and check for douglas county residents

This is ridiculous. I can barely afford to pay my power bill and now you want me to pay for dump fees when I already pay my taxes. This will cause so much more harm than good. Our beautiful green state will be affected by all the dumping of garbage on the side of the road by people who cannot afford to pay for dump fees. Why not reduce the incomes of the commissioners and people who made this decision on their own without the people's input. I suppose we know who to kick out of office. We thought you were for the people, not for the dump!

I wonder if the ones who came up with this choice have trash pick up or if they have to use the landfill. If we have to pay to dump then shouldn't we all be offered pick up. I do not agree with charging us to keep not only our homes and yards clean but our county as well.

if you charge a fee then the people who take their trash to the dump are just going to find other places to dump it. I think it does more harm than good to charge that fee. the streets and woods will probably just be filled with litter from people dumping their garbage there instead of paying to use the dump.
