A US Ejuice Vendor, "Doomsday Gourmet" was recently questioned about his choice of product name, for his custard offering, "Holocaustard".

The vendor made assurances this hugely inappropriate title was not in relation to the genocide of six million Jews.

However, the flavour description, sent out along with samples of the Ejuice, proves otherwise (see below).

This petition will be sent to all UK stockists and resellers of American Ejuice brands, detailing the distasteful marketing ploy adopted by this particular vendor.

By signing this petition you are not only agreeing to refuse a business relationship with "Doomsday Gourmet", but you also commit to showing your unwillingness to support any stockists aligning themselves with this brand.

*The description reads the following:
"If you're going to meet the end of the world in a box with 30 other people breathing in a strange gas, it should smell like French Vanilla with cinnamon and caramel"

Update: The Vendor has since changed the controversial and appallingly inappropriate name of the Ejuice in question. This is only after pressure from several big names in the US Vaping Industry. The Vendor has done so begrudgingly, unapologetically and has openly joked about the situation.
We do not feel this empty gesture is sufficient.

If you're signing on behalf of a business, please include the business name.

Updates

The vendor continues to mock this entire situation while pretending that a mere name change fixes their bigotry. We are currently compiling a full list of stockists to contact because silence from their partners is just another form of complicity.

Seeing this momentum grow confirms that people refuse to tolerate such vile antisemitism in our community. This response proves that an begrudging name change does not erase the harm done by their original marketing.

I have to agree with Zipper. Doomsday is awesome juice, and this is an old story.. Just someone's plea for attention.. If you don't like it, don't buy it, it's not that difficult..

We're trying to make sure this product *doesn't* reach our side of the pond. As for having "nothing to do with Nazi Germany", please explain what other situation the flavour profile alludes to; because I'm struggling to find a different scenario.

Like hell it had nothing to do with nazi Germany.. the OBVIOUS link is disgusting and utterly lacking in taste. The manufacturer in question should hang their head in shame for attempting to use a marketing ploy based on the murders of millions.

Tell me how the following description does NOT allude to the mass extermination of 6 million Jews? "If you're going to meet the end of the world in a box with 30 other people breathing in a strange gas, it should smell like French Vanilla with cinnamon and caramel"

At no point does it *specifically* allude to THE Holocaust that every fool is quick is assume. It very well may have been the intention of the maker, but it's you the individuals making that assumption/connection. The word holocaust existed long before the Nazi regime. You people jumping on your self-righteous high horse would do well to educate yourselves in the definitions of words before choosing to take unsolicited offense on the behalf of a race or creed.
