Dogs are not just commidities, vermin or tools for man kind to use and abuse. They are sentient beings with personalities and lives of their own and should be treated as such and not killed, harmed or upset unnecessarily.
Dogs have benefitted people so, so much over the years, as guides for the blind, ears for the deaf, herding animals, guards, retrievers, hunters, rescuers, therapy and much-loved and rewarding companions. There have even been some that can perform such amazing jobs as helping autistic people, detecting seizures (even when the people themselves do not know that they are about to have a seizure) and detecting drugs and even cancer. Is this really any way to repay them?
These dogs are fierce because they are starving. Starvation can make people fierce, too. It is not their fault that they are hungry. They need to eat, just like you do.
There has to be another way to deal with these dogs besides slaughtering them. Could they not safely and humanely tranquilise them, muzzle them (using humane, basket-style muzzles that allow them to pant, breathe, drink and accept treats) and take them to a no-kill shelter or rescue group, even if that means having to get them used to travelling and the plane/ship environments that they will be in? You could even set up a programme for my suggested scheme. If I ever hear of such a programme being set up and/or used, I'll donate to help out.
Please stop killing these dogs and find a humane and safe alternative way of dealing with them.

I think this is cruel and unkind of people to do this ,I don't think that the story is true I think they do it for fun ,I think any animal cruelty should be stopped and the people held responsible for there crime.

What did those dogs ever do to hurt anyone? You wouldn't slaughter a construction site full of human children!!

Killing these poor creatures is cruel. There has to be a more humane way to care and protect them and in the prepare them for homes. My RESCUES have been my favourite and most loving pets. Recently my nineteen year old Maggie Mae to sleep after a long battle with pancreatitis. She was the love of my life.
