If it is safe to restrict the noise for some of the time, couldn't it be extended to all the operating hours?During the day the sound is also loud, shrill, piercing, and sometimes very long. Is there a genuine H&S reason for this unpleasant noise pollution? A trial period without it would be welcome.

Needs to stop i live at flat 3 26a tomlins grove and have been woken up many times to train whistles sounding really early in the morning....its not on

When I stay at my mums they can be noisy, and it’s not fair on the local residents

This is not a safety issue. Why are there engineers walking around on live track from 06:00 - 10:00pm? It doesn't matter if the trains are on a bend, can the line controllers use technology help with this issue, instead of noise pollution.

It’s a nuisance and very annoying
It’s annoying and unnecessary all through the day
