What effect does this radiation exposure have on me in the long run?

Good initiative !
Until now we just accepted this difference as "normal", but now it's getting even more strict for externals and even more annoying.
It's like passing airport security every morning.

The security will not be efficient if only a part of personnel must do it. We are working for so much time an share the same objectives so why discriminate people like this. As we are suspicious or whatever….

This was badly not communicated to us and when it started the security people were quite aggressive about it.

I agree that a true security enforcement can't be discriminatory. Otherwise it's absolutely useless.

The discrimination against external personnel working full time inside the premises of European Institutions is apparent in all procedures and behaviours. Instead of being treated as value creation guests that support and enhance the operation of the Institutions, the decisions taken (by officials) in many areas of our every day life (like parking, office spaces, building accessibility, etc) is as we are annoyance. It is really sad!

A truly "secure" process would be to search everyone. Permanent or not. Since it's not like that we are not talking about security anymore. This is only a way to show off that the expensive machinery that they installed in every commission building was not for nothing.

Totally true, in the EP it's don't do what we do but do what we want like a slave
