Totally agree. Security is done wrong : controll everyone or no-one. We are not less reliable as external employees.

Security check should be done for all irrespective of badge colour

I feel uneasy and intimidated when I need to remove my trousers belt in front of my EP colleagues. The security check depending on the badge colour is unfair!

I totally agree. This has always been unacceptable.

Je soutiens votre initiative : le fait de faire passer les collègues externes par des détecteurs de métaux à chaque passage à la réception est discriminatoire et doit cesser ! Une fonctionnaire qui déteste les injustices !

What use is Security if there are priviledges. Everyone should be subject to the same checks no matter who you are.

We used to have these detectors for all the staff years ago, then they changed the policy for the worse..

True security measures have to be deployed in place of unfair, inefficient and useless gate checks.

It's obvious that EP should have strict security rules, but it's definitely unfair and inefficient to apply those rules only to external workers. I fully support this petition.

The security rules have to be applied to EVERYONE regardless of their position otherwise there is no security. It's a matter of logic, equity and justice

What makes external service providers so different from "officials" that makes it mandatory to have to go thought metal detectors and have our bags and jackets go through X-rays, removing belts and shoes every single morning? People that work at the European Institutions everyday and it is illogic to go through a security when people are know to work there. Specially seeing "officials" having no control what so ever.
