This is purely an act of discrimination. There is no need to overinterpret sanctions especially when ECFMG would hold its own exams anyways. Most of applicants from Iran are already frustrated with education system in Iran, why do they have to be subject to such an unfair decision?!

Iran's medical school are extremely competitive to get in, only very hard working ones can do that, why they should be punished because of the politicians.

this type of policy reminds me japanese-americans situation during world war two in US.stop the discrimination against the most educated people,why would we be victims of your nasty game?!! this is absolutely racial profiling and discriminatory act on Iranian physicians.
