it is totally unfair and irrelevant. Iran has been under sanctions for more than 8 years. The question is why now and more important among all why medical doctors and students?!

Have friends from Iran studying for step1 and will not be able to get the permit to take the test. They have put so much effort and hard work into it to get to the end of the road and not be able to accomplish their goal.

The discouragement that such news causes in between Iranian proffesionals is huge. I hope US government and all other related organization understand the affect of such disicions on Iranians.
