- On May 29th 2015, the educational commission for foreign medical graduates or ECFMG, which is responsible for verification of credentials related to medical education, training, and licensure, announced that this commission is no longer accepting application from IRANIAN physicians. Click Here
The medical council of Canada also announced a similar change in policy on its website.
We strongly condemn this unfair and utterly discriminatory policy which is a clear example of national origin discrimination.
We demand immediate revision of these policies and restoration of normal services to Iranian applicants just like any other applicant from anywhere else in the world.

Academic activities and exchanges have never been a part of the sanctions and several organizations had to retract their ban on working with Iranian scientists and professionals ( including m Chem Soc. IEEE, etc) on the same basis.
Iranian physicians are highly trained professionals like any other doctors around the world. They have no relation to Iran's government, and furthermore US sanctions have never included medical related items in it. Please stop this!
If these Iranian trained doctors are not treTed in the same manner as all other foreign trained doctors, this is clearly discriminatory and is not what this country does. I lived in Iran and received perfectly appropriate medical and dental care.
This is totally discrimination! We are not politicians. We are physicians who just want to get the training. We are paying the price of ruling by this Islamic regime anywhere in the world! Please separate us from the Islamic regime.
im a 26 year old MD who spent 8 years of my best year of my life to study medicine in tehran university of medical scienses,it s really unfair to say i waisted all of these times and energy..its really unfair..please dont do this with us

This is very hurtful that you make real innocent people pay the price over Iranian governments shortcomings. It is even against US basic values (no discrimination)!!! Medical doctors have nothing to do with current problems. Why ????????
