Stop Depressing ASPCA Commercials

I have rescued animals personally, and I love my pets more than life itself, but I have not supported the ASPCA for years due to the emotional blackmail in the severely triggering ads they choose to create. I feel so sorry for any children that love animals who see these devastating commercials. It is completely and totally uncalled for, and it is not the way to get people to have empathy for animals or support your cause - in fact, those who abuse animals probably ENJOY seeing these ads the same as they enjoy abusing their victims. Those who support such causes and truly care about them will donate without being prompted to do so by the sense of despair or guilt. (All these ads really do is trigger despondency and sadness - or worse, full-blown depressive episodes - for compassionate (and sometimes vulnerable) people who TRULY love animals!) Please stop - it's tantamount to cruelty, and you're all about stopping that, right?!

Do we really need to see this played over and over and over? We all know abuse exists but these commercials STOP me from donating. Guilt trips won't work on me.

It's way to long. They waste most of the donation money and super annoying. I will never ever donate because of it. I have no doubt more people thing the same. Stop annoying us with this agonizing commercial.

Not only are these animals abused by horrible inhumane BASTARDS!!! It's ABUSEIVE 2 show commercials on TV like that children see them???

Responsible pet owners is what’s needed. Spay and neuter your pets instead of letting them produce unwanted animals.

Even if I was going to donate because I am an Animal lover I will not because we have been flooded with the commercials since before Christmas 2022. Enough already!!!

Can't watch them

I am sickened by these commercials every summer and every Christmas time. I have to change the channel everytime these commercials air. I used to donate to the ASPCA, but have pulled my support. How much money goes to the animals? The CEO rakes in over one million dollars yearly. How much do you contribute sir?

I will not donate another dime to this organization as long as they continue to air these commercials. Totally uncalled for. Seems like the animal are abused again by these ads. Plus why don’t they show them after someone has rescued them?

I truly Love animals and I truly HATE these ads.

They are horrible to watch. I would even say damaging to mental health.

They could use all the money spent on commercials to help the animals
