Whilst I am an animal lover I am fed up with being constantly inundated with depressing tv adverts. I understand that animal charities need help but people at home all day the sick and the elderly also have to be considered. We are also constantly bombarded with adverts about death and illness, life insurance and funerals this has to be stopped. People's mental health and welfare must be taken into consideration.

I couldn't believe when it popped up on Google where there was a scientist experimenting on an animal it was horrific very very disturbing. I can't believe they would post something like this for donations.

My vote needs to be counted as two. I'm voting for my wife as well. HATE the sad/sappy commercials. LOVE animals/have one now. We treat him like another child. Those damn commercials have NEVER inspired us to donate. We would donate to a fund to remove them from TV tho....

The ads are very offensive and not necessary to secure donations

I love animals but hate these ads to the point I want to abuse ASPCA staff. Changing the channel isn't enough any more. Two second of the song puts me in a bad mood for hours.

Sick and tired of these long ASPCA ads back to back on nearly every commercial break. Over use of ad time.

I want to stop these multiple depressing ASPCA ads. I am a donor and for me it is enough. I do not use my iPad, iPhone and computer because of these ads.

Only 35 percent of each donation goes to the animals. Shame on this organization for its fear mongering tactics. Animal abuse is never ok. ASPCA do the right thing. Stop this over the top and probably very costly ad campaign and use the donation dollars on actually helping these poor animals.

Everybody knows that this animal abuse happens every day but we don't need to see it.

If this was a movie, it would be PG-13 for the disturbing images. I support the ASPCA message but give my money to other organizations that have the same mission but doesn't make my family screen and run away when the commercial is on tv.
