The network finally agreed to pull those commercials from the rotation. It took a long time and a lot of persistence to get them to listen but we succeeded. Keep an eye on the screen because we need to make sure they stick to this change.

The weight of these commercials is heavy on all of us and the climb toward five hundred signatures is exhausting. We need a final push to hit that marker and prove that we are tired of being emotionally manipulated in our own homes.

I appreciate everything that you do for the animals but you've got to do better with the TV commercials it breaks my heart I can't turn the TV channel fast enough to be subject to that all the time. There's got to be a better way stop the commercials!
I hate these commercials. I used to support the ASPCA with automatic monthly donations but stopped the first time I saw this commercial. Prefer to support other animal recuses as well as the AMC in New York City. I’ll never give the ASPCA another donation.
I'm adopted three dogs from the ASPCA, I make donations regularly and volunteer on any other events that I can. All I want is for the insanely over depressing commercials to end! they make me want to curl up into a ball and die on the couch
I support the changing of the content, they can still request help but the depressing way in which they do this puts stress on me. Plenty of people out there battle depression such as war vets with PTSD and every little bit helps reduce the suicide rate.
These commercials are horrible! We know there are abused animals we don't need to see a 5 minute depressing commercial to remind us! My 6 and 8 year old children cry everytime it comes on. Children do not need to see commercials like these!!!!
the money goes to executives and more advertising
Stop running so many ads and offering gifts to people who donate to ASPCA. Stop using emotional manipulation to receive money. Stop paying executives huge salaries. Use money to help animals in need.

It would be nice to see a positive reason to donate. Please show pets that have been adopted into a healthy, happy, loving and safe environment instead of the broken, depressed, traumatized and abused animals that are unbearable to watch.
