Dear Hon. Leona Aglukkaq,
I am very worried about deforestation. There are 6 million forests left in the world but of course they are disappearing every day. Forests are homes to multiple species of animals, insects etc. By cutting down trees and forests we are stealing their homes. 3 species become extinct every day in the world. That 3 should be 0.
So I think we should decrease the amount of deforestation. Every time we cut down a tree we should plant 1 and if not 2 more. I want to know if there is a law about deforestation and if not I would appreciate it if you could support a bill to help stop deforestation. We should take care of our environment because the environment takes care of us. So please help me stop deforestation!
I have gathered names of people who share my concern and I know they all want a change. Please write back!
Sincerely,
Citizens of Canada who care about deforestation.
