Critical Race Theory (CRT) has started to infiltrate Lemont Public Schools via its Suite of teachings which include the "progressive" sex education! This is currently happening via "Young Adult" books that have snuck into the school libraries and the online libraries at Old Quarry Middle School and Lemont High School. These books celebrate and normalize sexual relationships amongst minors - both Heterosexual and especially LGBTQ+ graphic sexual relationships. This petition calls for the removal of all "Young Adult" Heterosexual and LGBTQ+ which depict sexual relationships, be removed from the onsite libraries and access restricted to the books available online. Let's stand together to protect our kids, our schools, and our community from this Marxist garbage! Otherwise it won't be long before books such as these further infiltrate Lemont High School, Old Quarry Middle School and then Oakwood and River Valley Elementary Schools. WE NEED TO TAKE ACTION URGENTLY.
