My grandfather Gojko Lalic was killed by Ustasi with a group of 220 Serbian civilians in 1941 by smashing their heads using a sledgehammer. My second grandfather Desimir Mihic escaped from a group of 200 Serbian civilians taken to a mass grave. He was the only one who survived. 27 relatives of my mother Bosiljka Lalic were brutally murdered. In all well over one million Serbian civilians were killed by Ustashi mostly in a sadistic way. Their only crime was that they were ethnic Serbs and of Cristian Othodox Religion. If this was not a genocide than genocide does not exist.
