This is just disgraceful. We are supposed to encouraging people to stay fit and healthy and with the closure of places that help then we will be faced with an obesity epidemic. Brisbane City council, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

This notion of forcing small business from their premises is outrageous and the council should be supporting them in every way shape and form. A few months notice is ludicrous! A few years notice is far more reasonable and at least some kind of financial support would assist if this kind of practice is "necessary".
Hopefully some common sense will prevail here and some relaxations can be put into place..

This is more than just the removal and relocation of a business, but the disruption to a community, if a democratically elected council actually cared and/or understood about the very people within its constituency then this wouldn't be happening.

1 complaint should not rob a fitness community of a place to come together and chase fitness and social goals. Industrial areas are generally accepted as being noisy. When you push fitness businesses to areas closer to residential areas there will be more complaints due to noise just because of the music played to make exercising more fun!!!

I can't believe Brisbane City Council are not supporting FITA-U, this is not just a Gym this is about changing your life, through fitness & Nutrition - Ashley you have created a fantastic buisness, you care about your clients and their health and well being.
Shame on the BCC for not supporting what you are bringing to the community.
