Please repeal and replace common core! I've pulled my children out of public school because it got so bad and I see first hand now how well they are excelling in our private school. There is a better way for all our children.

Should read RTTT as well as ESSA Every Student Success Act which is rename of RTTT. Goal is online educ., data driven assessment to work placements by gov decision, state and local and parents inconsequential. Gov take over of all industries is socialism, communism, statism, progressive, pick one. It is NOT Constitutional republic of the UNITED STATES.

Common Core was developed by "education theorist" Bill Ayers, national terrorist with communist tendencies, wants to mold your child's mind! Funded by Bill Gates, with ulterior motives of writing the software that will educate your children, thus filling his pocketbook! Publishers will make more money writing these books and end up FORCING ALL TEACHERS TO COMPLY with Common Core because alternative books won't exist! And worse - DATA MINING! Your child - our future - individuals - will become a product of the education system and unwitting proponents of a socialist/communist world.

The common core is expecting kids to retain to much at to young of an age. They don't even retain half of what you are expecting from one year to the next. The Math is the worse system ever and not needed.

I absolutely want and demand stopping Common core in our state. Since implementation, my son was turned from loving school to hating it, and asking daily why he was even born - because he always does only bad things and he is a bad boy. From loving math, to hating it! He wanted to die!!! J pulled him out and have home schooled since then!!! He no longer wants to die! He informed me he likes his life!
Please!!!! Spare our children from unconstitutional federal government push to take over our local school system! We must get common core out and restart with local curriculums, such as back to classical education.

Where to begin with Common Core...there isn't any commonality among individual children. No child is the same as the next, nor do they learn the same. I'd love to post a hidden video I took of my 2nd grader attempting to do CC math last year (which was quickly taught to us, his college graduate parents via a YouTube video). He cried and said he was stupid so many times. What 7-8 year old child should be made to feel dumbed down by an unrealistic approach to simple math? None! Get rid of it and ask the teachers what they want!
