CC is a monster that needs to be thrown into the depths of hell. Why must my children, who are very bright, have to learn at the same level of those not so gifted? CC math is some of the most ridiculous "stuff" I have ever seen. 1+1=2. It is that simple. Children need to know basic math...not some roundabout way to do it. What good does it do to have children learning on the same level? It only makes children who advance quickly, not want to put forth the effort because, what difference does it make? Kill CC before my children become uninterested in school!!! #USD368

My 5 year old shows great interest in STEM. My biggest fear for him and other children like him, is that Kansas will not be able to deliver an excellent education in Math, Science, Reading, etc. Common Core strips children of their enthusiasm, creativity, diligence, and drive. I am proud to be a Kansan and I am rooting for our state to make a wise decision for the next generation of thinkers, doers, and innovators!

My 5 year old shows great interest in STEM. My biggest fear for him and other children like him, is that Kansas will not be able to deliver an excellent education in Math, Science, Reading, etc. Common Core strips children of their enthusiasm, creativity, diligence, and drive. I am proud to be a Kansan and I am rooting for our state to make a wise decision for the next generation of thinkers, doers, and innovators!
