My daughter is 9.She comes home crying and confused and I am unable to help her because I know the "old" way (which works just FINE I might add!). My daughter has NO TIME to be a kid anymore because aside from daily homework and AR reading,spelling practice and writing..we spend 2 hours a night googling how to do her homework so she doesn't fail! She is now is "specialized classes" because she is so distraught she has lost interest in school and isgiving up on her attention for it :( I cry for her future...

My son who used to LOVE school comes home from school crying and frustrated. I can see why parents home school. STOP COMMOM CORE!

Why would any parent or teacher want something that is untested. No one knows if this works! All I know is that my kids are frustrated & being discourage from learning with this common core. I myself find it difficult to help my own child with there homework. Stop common core!

Common core teaches our children nothing. It has taken the simple tasks like multiplication and turned it into a nightmare.

i am in 6th grade. common core has taught me nothing exept for the fact that children are easily brainwashed.

Need to stop common core in its tracks. This is total garbage and our children should not be subjected to its philosophy.
