STOP Commercial TOUR Buses at Kokololio Beach Park

This shouldn't happen in my community!!! To be born and raise this side of Northshore, and going beach or enjoying family time here- this is what it's usually for. Don't include our beach as part of the city area beaches. Our community is way different and more peaceful.

I take my littles to alligator pond all the time, Definitely not keen on the mass amounts of people unloaded off tour buses. It’s a community and family beach. Not a tourist destination

All Tour operations should be charged a fee to take tourists into our community parks.

Keep the tour buses in Waikiki area.

Protecting the rights of local residents. Please use beaches that are designed with tourist in mind

Too much!!!

I have lived near and used this beach, Kokololio(Kakela)Beach Park for well over 50yrs, celebrating 3 and 4 generations of family, friends, and special visitors. Now I use and care for it on an almost daily basis for swimming, refreshment, and meeting with old friends. I hate to see it abused by unwelcomed crowds of folks who don’t care for its health and well-being, its history, and for the neighboring ‘ohana. Please help us preserve this special place for our future generations’ enjoyment. Don’t let this treasure be destroyed for the sake of tourism. They have many places already well established for their purposes of entertainment. It’s not out here in Hau’ula. Mahalo.

Please keep them out of residential areas.

Sometimes they have 3 busses of tourists, It’s ridiculous to have that many people, bringing that much garbage , it overwhelms the restrooms, garbage cans, beach and litter, cigarette butts, even though there is no smoking.

Stop the ridiculous over tourism

We need to protect the natural resources of Hawaii. I swam in the ocean for 14 years and saw many tourists come and go. So took rocks and threw them at seals resting on the beach. I got out of the water and told them they could not do that.

Please stop this from happening in our community, I am against the tour buses bringing their people here and leaving them for more then an hour.

Too many huge groups of tourists being dropped off at our community beaches leaving their trash around and their sunscreen ruining our reefs. We have just enough room at these beaches for our local families who live on our side. Take the tourists around the island in your busses to look at stuff but let them swim in front of their hotels in Waikiki.

Let’s keep the tourist in Waikiki or tour Hale’iwa, Dole Pineapple, etc. Take them on a shark tour. Most tourist are thrilled with the iconic blue waters of Waikiki. We don’t need hundreds of additional bodies on our local rural beaches polluting the waters with their sunscreen & poisoning our reefs. Let’s keep the country , country. Preserve our oceans and way of life. Take them to PCC , Hale’iwa, go grab shave ice, but don’t over crowd our local beaches.
