Just imagine being terrified of the only place where you are suppose to be and feel safe.HOME. When I come home, that is the only place where I feel like I can be myself. I can’t imagine coming home terrified about what my mother or father is going to do to me. I was reading this book called a Child Called “It” by David Pelzer. He comes home and is beaten every day and forced to drink ammonia. One day David Pelzer’s
mom totally lost it and stabbed him 2 ½ inches into the child’s chest. She would starve him and he once did not consume any food for a whole 2 weeks! You may think that David Pelzer is the only boy this may have happened to but this is not true at all. This happens to kids across the globe.
