This is why we should have elected Matt People move to berryville -then try to ruin it for convenience. There are big pharmacies and retail 8 miles down route 7

While I don't live in Berryville I do shop there and am a Clarke County resident. I am concerned that rash moves are being made with disregard to what has been studied and planned.

Its time democracy was restored to Berryville. One person pushing one developer's agenda is not democracy.

As a life long resident of Clarke County I am concerned about the direction the Berryville Town Council is taking. It appears that the majority of council members are not listening to their constituents, Planning commission, etc. I have been a downtown Berryville business owner in several capacities in the past & am very involved in Berryville Main Street's mission & Barns of Rose Hill's mission. We need to keep our Historic downtown active. I feel that a strip mall on the Northern section of town will be quite detrimental to the future of our downtown.

I am a town resident and I am greatly concerned by recent decisions of the majority of the Town Council members to allow large growth at the north of town. I would suggest including people's addresses to show that this is what Town residents want, not just County residents.

The mayor and Council are supposed to work for the people, NOT the developer. It is time they remembered that. If you want to change the comp plan you change the entire comp plan, with public input. One parcel at a time undermines it till it is no longer a valid document. Sadly voters elected representatives of a special interest developer which now hold a majority in our town. Once they do this there is no undoing it. They have no concern about what the people want and have probably already made up their minds. Give them the pressure they deserve until their terms are over.

This is ill advised and, regardless of the motivations involved, simply does not look ethical.

Going against a comprehensive and well thought out plan in favor of one persons profit interests is NOT in anyone's best interest except for he who stands to profit. Please please use your power with wisdom and in favor of this most special town and it's people.
