My understanding of SHIFT NC is that the underlying theme is to promote an acceptance of any sexual behavior - some of which I consider not to be in the best interest of our children/youth. This program should not be allowed in our schools or youth programs.

Please don't allow the federal government backed by their federal dollars to spend on our schools influence your decision about SHIFT NC and their programs to "help" our teens/children. We have elected school board members to serve in the best interests of our children. The true agenda, as exposed at the community awareness meeting of May 24, is one of danger and harm to our students mentally, emotionally and physically. Listen and heed the concerns of parents, teachers...citizens in Onslow County.

I don't believe that a government office, whether city, county, state, or federal, has the right to interfere with a parent's rights to raise there children, concerning moral values.
