Cannibal Corpse is an American death metal band from Buffalo, New York.

Some of their song lyrics are unbelievable and extremely offensive such as the song "Necropedophile", which tells a graphic story of molesting and raping dead infants/children. I do not think it should be allowed and legal for ANY band/artist from ANY genre of music to write such disturbing lyrics. Just because someone does not actually do the things that he writes about in his songs, does not make the lyrics "okay" in my opinion.

There are all kinds of different genres of music and there is more than one type of genre of metal as well. To name only a couple of metal genres: glam, progressive, thrash.
What is the next genre of music/metal? "Child abuse"?

There are all kinds of evil out there and no one can stop them all, but I can certainly try. I understand that they are 'artists' and can generally write about whatever they choose to. Don't get me wrong; I like metal. But this has to STOP.

I do not think the band Cannibal Corpse should continue writing such harsh and disturbing songs. If you agree with me, please sign this petition.
