Thank you all who have signed and or commented on this. I ask that you please share this petition to get all the people we can behind this! Going to the school board June 5th to stand up for all our kids and appeal for a reform to the current system in place for bullying and have something in place with harsher punishments for those that bully! Please help me stand and be the voices for all the kids and make the changes to make and keep our children safe! Thanks everyone

My son was also bullied at Sherburne Earlville central school and nothing was done about it and he was sent to the hospital also

As a parent seeing my child afraid to go to school due to bullying that is happening all the time and interfering with her class work, physical and mental health is horrible! It took me 2 weeks or more to get anyone to respond to my repeated requests for someone to contact me about the bullying. Then was told "she shouldnt waited so long to tell us", are you kidding me!!! She was telling people at the school and I was trying to get the school to talk to me. They try to not take responsibility and when that doesn't work they attempt to try and blame the victims. New harsher guidelines needs to be in place for bullying cause this "talk counseling" and "bullying reports" is a load of BS, it doesnt do anything but make the problems worse and replacement of staff if needed. I have emails to back up the school knowing of the issues to guidance, principals and the superintendent and nothing has gotten better if anything everything is worse. We as parents need to stand up and say enough is enough and fight the district to keep our kids safe cause the school wont!

I know what it's like to be bullied because when I was in Sherburne I was bullied to the point where they were telling me they would pay to watch me kill mysel.

No child should have to be afraid to go to school.
No child should have to give up the activities they love because they are being mistreated by faculty and staff. And no parent/ guardian should have to watch their child give up something they love.
No child or parent/guardian should have to go the school principal or any other school authority to let them know about the bullying effecting their lives, more than once.
No parent/guardian should be sent a bill for the ambulance fee from when a child was assaulted by a bully.
If a child has been assaulted by someone who has been bullying them try pressing charges or file a lawsuit.
And if someone notified the school about this child being bullied by a particular person, who later assaults them, file a lawsuit against them as well.
Shame on you S-E school district!

I attended your school from the age of 13-16 I ended up dropping out because I was bullied to the point I felt so uncomfortable. Their we're several occasions where I trusted you guys enough to say something and nothing was even done about it my parents contacted you and still I was the one in iss. I'm sick of hearing so many story's like my own THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!

As a former student, and my daughter was a student in kindergarten, I was bullied by almost everyone and my daughter was bullied by her teacher.

Thank you for your comment and e-singature! If you could please share on your page as you have many people in the area who may have had the same issue or is currently it would be a great help! Trying to get this out and show the school they are failing children being bullied and stand behind nothing but excuses. Let make ALL KIDS safe again from the abuse of bullying!!!

Been down this road and they did absolutely NOTHING!!! Next time it happens my son will take care of the situation!!!
