I think it would have significantly more cons than pros and we're already got too many people in this town for the schools and doctors to deal with, I think money would be better spent on many other things and if you try to build houses they will 100% flood in poor weather. The field becomes a flood plain for the animals that live there and destroying that would effect their ecosystem.

I agree with the comments already made. The town's infrastructure is already at breaking point. and there are already a number of empty properties in the town.. Until there are more doctors, bigger schools andbetter social facilitiesall building in Wem should be stopped.

Traffic is bad enough up lowe hill, without more houses here. Not to mention the extra burden on our already over stretched doctors, where you cant get an appointment for a month.

This will have a significantly negative impact on the town, which is already overrun with high levels of commuter traffic. There aren’t enough schools, DRs surgeries, jobs or opportunities in the town and the flow of traffic to Shrewsbury and Telford in the morning is already horrendous. The risk of flooding on that road is diabolical. No more housing developments, especially in this area!

I agree with the above comments, the doctors and schools are full, we need to resolve the ongoing traffic management problems before we add any further commuter traffic.
Last summer the council held a traffic consultation in the town due to the problems we have, as far as I know, nothing has come from that consultation, why are we considering adding yet more traffic, until the existing situation has been resolved?

The infrastructure is lacking in Wem already. It takes 4 weeks for me to see a doctor. The school is full to capacity. We can not afford to put any more strain on our lacking resources. :(

Risk of flooding. Long wait to see doctors. Local children can’t get in local schools . There are a lot of homes for sale in Wem . We don’t need more.

Until the flooding issues, school places, doctors appointments get improved NO houses should be built especially where they are planing to put another junction in line with two very busy junctions. Sort all the other issues out in Wem 1st!!!!

I feel this build would be detrimental to wem due to increased traffic on already busy lanes. Flooding. Conservation. School places. Doctors waiting time. Sewage and the unsafe area of the entrance. There are numerous areas in wem that need improving
