We appreciate the need for more housing but the green belt areas are what makes queensbury the beautiful village it is, and the infrastructure of the local area is quite simply not developed enough to cope with all the extra housing.

Consider existing resources one month for a gp appointment no school places no bank not even a proper post office highways not fit for purpose at present I have to leave 30 mins early for work to avoid traffic delays ridiculous !

I live off Long Lane, and the views are beautiful, but the traffic isn't. More traffic!!!
If they carry on, there'll be no fields, no scenery, anywhere

There is nothing wrong with progress and devopment. But development of more houses means schools, health care, roads parks, also need devoloping and there has been no sign of these areas being address with the already new housing devopments that have already taken place. children are being sent out of the area for schooling!! Surely that's a clear sign the infrastructure of Queensbury needs looking at before more houses appear!!

This village is already overcrowded with cars snaking back along the High Street from the lights. What it would be like with another 600 houses , I dread to think. There is also the issue of Primary school places to consider aswell!!

Clearly Queensbury is growing at too fast a pace. The roads and infrastructure are basically the same as 50 years ago. The schools are full , the health centres are full. The roads have barely changed. The old unadopted streets are still unadopted. Very little money is spent on the residents. There is no sports centre or youth club. The parks are neglected, the streets are full of litter, we have no proper policing .

The backlog of traffic at peak times has increased dramatically in the last couple of years to ridiculous levels just lately. This is with most of the new housing yet to be completed and moved into,
The once quite street I live on is now a major 'cut thru' for inpatient drivers.
It's only a matter of time before person or persons are hurt or worse!!

We are already stretched in Queensbury with all the new building that has been going on. The roads, schools and doctors can not cope with the amount of development that is being proposed.

Please stop building and turning Queensbury from the village it was into a mini town. Public amenities are being closed, the bank is soon to shut yet there is no where near the infrastructure needed to support more housing. I am proud to say I grew up in a village proud of its history and a community spirit second to none, I am sure some if this will be lost if the building continues.

Our village has already turned into a building site with hundreds of new builds... the infrastructure is unable to cope with any more ... the roads are over run with cars, there are not enough schools.doctors and the only bank in the village is closing along with the library and swimming baths.... and god help the drainage system

Any further development in Queensbury without additional infrastructure such as schools, and roads to support another 550 families ( potentially another 1000 cars and children) is inconceivable. The infrastructure is already inadequate for the existing new developments that are currently being built with queues of traffic in every direction from the centre to the boundaries of the village every morning and evening and with parents needing to take their children to primary school outside the village as the 3 existing schools are at breaking point.
Part of the appeal of living in Queensbury is that it is a village with green spaces and farmland- further development will result in a reduction in these benefits. Building on green belt farmland is unnecessary when there is so many brown field sites available for redevelopment in Bradford.

I moved to Queensbury because it is semi-rural, please don't take that away. I also work in one of the local primary schools, which is full. I know all of the other local schools are full and have recently failed to find a place for a school place for a child moving into the area.
