BSL is a breed specific law. It is used to discriminate against a specific breed such as bully breeds. Now you may think oh its just for pit bulls. Well a "Pit Bull" isnt a breed is a general name for all bully breeds and even if you have a dog that is mixed with a bully,They arent safe either. In Prince Georges county,Maryland we fight every day with BSL and its starting to spread to other areas not only in maryland. BSL regulates where you can live with your bully, where you can go, even as far as animal control or the police taking the dog out your home and killing it. Looking at this law should make you think Havent they done this to so many of the human races as well . They dont want to understand the struggles but rather claim that they are unruly and violent. This is how these bullies feel misunderstood and contained. So please sign this petition and stand with us to free this breed of discrimination. Thank you

The city in which I live had enacted the BSL. They were sued and lost. The city can not discriminate against any of the bully breeds.
I have a Pitbull and he is My Life!!!!!! My Boyfriend and I adopted from the shelter over a year ago and we would do it again in a heartbeat!!!! This WONDERFUL, LOVING, GENTLE, and AMAZING dog is not our "furbaby" he's our SON!!!!!! Not only is Mowgli my Companion dog; but and most seriously he is my Registered Certified Service Dog so I can take him anywhere with me!!!! I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER BREED OF DOG!!!!!!!!
We are all they have. They depend on us and We MUST be their voice!!!
Stop bullying my breeds
Its a disgrace that so many dogs are killed simply because of their 'breed'. It is a barbaric legislation and honestly, I am shocked that it is still upheld in the year 2017.. aren't we supposed to be civilised??

Breed specific bands aren't helpful. They haven't been proven.to change the outcome of dog attacks.
