Pit bulls should not be banned. Most are not aggressive. Please save these babies.

I have owned 3 dogs of the so called "dangerous breed" and they have been the sweetest most loyal and obedient companions I have ever known. I am disgusted with the stigma these breeds have developed through irresponsible dog owners and what humans have done to them over the centuries. I too stand with all breeds !!!

Breeds bylaws are useless and there is zero proof to dispute it. There is, however, lots of proof that they don't work. Seperating this dig from his family at this point is cruel for everyone involved. And to DNA test? Gross.

Breed-specific bans are appalling. It's been shown time and time again that it's not the breed, it's the owner. Get rid of this ridiculous law, and start enforcing ones against animal cruelty instead. Put the blame where it belongs.

Please get rid of this ridiculous bylaw, this is the reason I will never live in Guysborough county, and has been a factor in my decision to sell my family cottage there.

absolutely ridiculous. How many times do they have to be told " It is not the dogs that are the problem!!! It is the owners!!!" Leave this poor family and their dog alone

This is a barbaric bylaw that needs to be removed. This is total discrimination against a breed based on uneducated beliefs and not on fact..a dog should be judged only by its behavior and not by its breed. I have a beautiful 10 year old pitbull who is a gentle, sweet soul..I cannot imagine what this family must be feeling. This needs to be stopped! Shame on you Guysborough for having such a bylaw in place!!
