Patriot Outdoors is an outstanding business, there is not need for a government run operation.

I am a 6+ year resident of Clovis, NM. This proposal is in direct violation of what the city commissioners should be doing FOR local businesses, not AGAINST them.

Creating competition with a small business that has been well established that has viable and relevant offerings creates two problems.
1. Creates needless debt for the taxpayers up to 1.5 million estimated over 20 years due to a negative budget.
2. Creates negative impact for the local businesses already in the industry which causes profit and job loss to their employees.
Let's focus on other ventures that can eliminate both of these issues and spur better economic growth and stability for our community.

We have excellent shooting range choices already. Using taxpayer money on a new range is a waste of money!

I wouldn't feel safe with a public shooting range

Definitely feel like there are a lot more things the Clovis community needs more than another shooting range.

Government competing with private business is shameful.
