The Board of Ed of Bethany Community School is proposing that we bring 15 new students in from the New Haven school system. By bringing these student in it will cost us tax dollars. In the past years the students in BCS have not had the supplies needed and all parents have been asked to chip in and buy supplies for the teachers and class. If we can not afford to supply our children how can we take care of others. Please sign this petition so our tax dollars stay in our community and not get sent to out of town causes. Please also keep in mind that for 1 school in a small town we have a Superintendent, a Principal, Vice Principal and a curriculum coordinator that we pay for. We need to stop the Board of Ed from spending our tax dollar.
