Stop banks from selling repossessions too cheap

At present banks are under no obligation to get the best price for your repossessed property and then still come back to you for the shortfall .
Surely that is mal practice ! If you have nothing left to give them then the bank may never recoup it's loss and it's customers are therefore losing out .
Some properties are neglected by the agents appointed by the banks and sell for a quarter of the market value. Lives are being ruined .
