This change affects not just my headphones, but makes it impossible for me to play music in my car or on my home stereo. I am faced with the option of opting for a different brand of phone, or replacing all the devices one which I listen to podcasts and music. What kind of a bonehead move is it to remove the headphone jack? Serves no purpose other than to feed your greed. It was bad enough you switched to a the firewire and I had to buy new chargers and an adapter for all my devices like speakers, my home stereo system, etc.

If they do this, then my Family, all of which have iPhone 6s (4 of them), will never buy another iPhone again. We will take the loss on the iTunes, Apps, etc we have purchased over the years. It's a real shame as we have been using the iPhone since the beginning.

I love my iPhone 6+, but if Apple decide to take away a headphone socket, they can say goodbye to me as a customer.

I think this would be a bad decision and doesn't make much sense logistically. If 99% of these people listen to music on their iPhones, then taking this port away would just lead to inconvenience. Who really wants to have to plug in an adapter whenever they want to listen to music? I certainly wouldn't.

Ditching the headphone jack would lower the iPhone’s functionality and consequently, its profitability.

I need a 3.5 mm jack socket on my iPhone! I have headphones that are more valuable to me than my iPhone. Don't force me to choose!!
