It is unacceptable that a GA teacher who should stand for openness of spirit, acceptance of other religions, encouragement of difference of opinions, frank and constructive dialog, educated views, ended up embarrassing this school and its reputation, in the most public way. She must be allowed to resign as a nice gesture for her years of service, and should she refuse, the board should have her contract terminated immediately. Haven't we learned by now that moral clarity does not depend on the circumstances!!
