I am a resident of Shippan in a Stamford and know many families Jewish and non who are shocked you would protect this avowed Jew hating anti semite. There will be serious funding and enrollment repercussions unless you do the right thing. Would you fire her if she refused to sit on a panel with a black person, you certainly would. So that leaves our only conclusion is that your administration in equally anti semitic. You should be ashamed of yourself. No Jewish student should have to be taught by her.

This is not about free speech. She is within her right to say hateful things, just as GA is within its right to fire her. Not doing so would be a message to all that GA believes Jew hate is ok

This woman is entitled to her opinion, but to object to sharing the stage with a Zionist…. That is unacceptable;, it is a form of antisemitism. To go deeper into this issue, to view the term Zionism, as simply anti-Palestinian flies in the face of history. She should look into the Bible & see how long the Jews inhabited this part of the world— since biblical times! Someone whined to me within the last year, referring to the Jews, “ but they were a minority.” My response was/is, “Duh…. The Jews have always been a minority! And as a very successful minority, one that has survived in spite of every attempt to wipe them out, being a minority is not the basis upon which to deny them their rights. Further, the Bible is replete with the concept of Zion, love of this land, & the dream of & the promise to the Jewish people to return. At the same time, this does not mean the expulsion or persecution of the Palestinian people. There’s no question that there are fanatics on both sides like those Jews on the West Bank that are snatching up land intended for a Palestinian state. The only way this conflict will be solved is to return to something like the Oslo Agreement. This whole problem would have been solved, YEARS ago!!!! had Yasser Arafat and others like him never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity. It’s high time that the levelheaded and fair people on the Jewish side & the Palestinian side come together and hammer out an agreement that is fair to both peoples. If you take another look at the boundaries that were drawn in 1948, the Palestinians would have tons more land, and it was the Jews that agreed to it and the Palestinians that said, no compromise, no Jewish state no peace. So to wrap up, there’s plenty of wrong on both sides, But it’s time for reasonable people on both sides to come together and be willing to make peace!
Very unamerican very unacceptable
