Abuse of animals needs to stop. One of the biggest perpetrators of this crime is our Manitoba government. Time to stop this behavior and jail time should be the penalty for this crime. Look in the eyes of an animal . . inside you will see a heart and unconditional love.

I'm against animal abuse.if u have a animal u should be good to it treat it the way u want to be treated. There should tuffer ,stronger laws against the human that is abusive to animals .

Would like to also see a stop to pmu mares. These poor horses spend most of their lives in tie stalls. They are always in foal with a bag attached to their backside to collect urine. This is used in change of life for humans. The biggest drug sales in the world. These horses get the least amount of water so the urine is more concentrated. Their life span is half of a normal horse.

I live in East St Paul and I think it is time Manitoba joined all the other places and passed laws that animal abuse convictions should carry a jail sentence.

There needs to be stronger laws for the animals. Right now not even the police will do anything and calling animal control in my area they never get back to you I have tried....

No one should get away with abusing any animal. There must be harsh penalties. Non human animals do not have a voice to speak out against the atrocities committed against them human beings. Those humans need to be punished.
