This is ridiculous. I always hated this school when I went there for the ignorance alone. There was an instance where a black kid was forced to remove his (black) bandana was not allowed to wear a bandana but white boys are allowed to wear it all the time. This school needs some change.

I blame the parents of these students as much or more than I blame the students. Adults should know better. Plus, everyone knows that the last Confederate flag was white.

Why is the Confederate flag allowed but a whole bunch of white preps are allowed to shout the N word down the hallway? Also not to mention that I was "being too loud" in the outside hallway when I wasn't eating or well nourished and I was given a referal. #racialprofile #injustuce

The confederate flag, once associated with the confederate army is now a widespread symbol of white supremacy, racisim, bigotry, and hatred. Confederate flags are being removed from public facilties all over the south in acknowledgment of these facts. Having flags displayed on school grounds is unacceptable, antagonitic, and threatening to students. There should be a zero tolerance policy for this behavior and they should be disallowed. The school board needs to step up and put a policy in place to cease this divisive and repulsive behavior.
