See- what these idiots don't realize, is they have not achieved one thing but darkening this world a little more! Shooting ANY animal especially a huge one doesn't pose a test of strength, a test of will, a test of "manhood"! Refraining from shooting the animal is a better test! These puny cowards that hide behind a high powered weapon aren't "culling" the heard, or minimally killing for food source or they would be hunting in appropriate areas, specifically identified herd animals. My father- an avid hunter & fisherman- taught me that you only take from nature that which you can eat. You leave the rest alone & enjoy this plant with them. My father even felt you respect the elders- those animals that represented a full life lived- while hunting in the Davis Mountains, my dad came upon a clearing & there stood the most magnificent buck he had ever seen! The buck's rack, so huge & covered in a kind of light fur told the story of how old the buck was. Daddy lowered his sight while his eyes filled with tears. Later my dad told me it was almost a reverent moment he shared with this "beast" in his forest. That is passing a true test.

All killing of all wild animals must stop. Better still...lets all become vegetarians.
