My bill is more than my rent. Noone is at home till after 5p. There are only 2 people in my house, we are rarely at the over 4 hours. I practice energy savings. We get behind in other bills and are frequently late due to high wg&l bill.

Recently I moved. Prior to me moving I paid water gas and light 280.00.. I got a bill in the mail for 479.00 for 13 days of service

I agree bills are too high. Mine went up $175 this month and only two people live in my home, and I am basically in one room all day with the lights on, no excuse as to the rise. I know the temperatures have been up but my ac is set on 77 and it has been for the past 6 months and my bill wasn't this high.

Wg&l of Albany, Ga just charge what they want and their workers don't even get out and read meters like they should and correctly this is crazy and it needs to be addressed immediately

This community needs a deflux in the amount that Albany Utilities is getting every month. The budget is way beyond the cost of living. People who live in homes much nicer and twice the rent have cheaper Bill's and their Bill's are usually separated, water, electric, garbage, etc. Poor people shouldn't have to decide between a home and utilities. Utility Bill's are running poor people to eviction. Is that what the city of Albany foundation is? It's supposed to be the Good Life City but it seems like its dragging people down.

They have been getting away with this for way too long. Something needs to be done immediately. I’m a single mother and had to move out of my house because I couldn’t afford paying 500 a month for lights for my son and I. Unacceptable.

I gave my whole check 2 weeks ago to Albany utilities and am also giving my whole check this week. Now I'm struggling to oay other bills, I don't know where the money is going to come from.

Its already a struggle making it with rent, but with utilities being the same as rent or higher thats an issue for me and some of the other citizens in Albany, Ga.
