I am hoping this isn't real. Why can't tourists share the beach with locals?

It’s deplorable. Damn big money talks. This is St. Lucia and the beach belong to every Lucian. Tourists and locals share the beach here and I have never seen the need to divide. Public beaches for all!

I am so against this project, have been from the start. I was at a meeting where concerns were brought up, all of them mentioned in this post. Nothing has been done about any of them! They are building a jetty all the way at the end of the land that has already affected the water currents! And it is going to go even further out. This will be to dock yachts. So many issues that would take me all day to list. Let me know if, when and where there will be a protest.

My heart Bleeds! The last piece of Reduit Beach where locals including myself could enjoy a piece of St Lucia and it’s taken away from us. We are being fooled. This is so sad!!!!

Saint Lucians need access to every beach in Saint Lucia. The late prime minister, John Compton must be turning in his grave right now. His accomplished is being erased bit by bit. WHAT A SHAME!

The construction of this resort is far from being mindful of the existing environment (They've ripped down every tree!) and respecting the surrounding community! Construction is ongoing day and night. Even including Christmas day. Not to mention the Public's rightful access to Reduit Beach! This cannot go unchecked! People live here. This is their home!

Stop this wanton destruction. The beaches are and should continue to be public and accessible
