This is, honestly, a very poor decision on the part of Twitch TV. The delay ruins the whole point of even having a chat, which the caster uses to interact with his/her fanbase and followers, showing them that they are thankful for their support.

Fix the 30 second delay!

This is a distinctly bad move. Besides the Let's Play community and RPG groups I watch and play in, a group that makes up a large portion of your user base as far as I can see, and which is dramatically and badly affected by this move, it also prevents the direct interactions that make your service the go to method for KS interactions. I can see why it would benefit something like eSports, but make it a switch then, not an all or nothing deal.

I realize that innovation is a necessary process, but does it have to be at the cost of the casters? We have enough problems with other services. We don't need more problems with companies causing all of our sites to cost us viewers and money.

I make it an absolute point to actively interact with my viewers. This delay is dissatisfactory to this point and everyone else that does, too. It cripples channels trying to get started as well.

All my team mates from underdogs have signed this so as the head person...We all united and stop esports streams for wanting 30 seconds delay on streams.

Twitch, I like using your service, but these problems have to be FIXED... NOW. Not in a week or two, not next year, NOW. I stream and there's a 10 second delay between what I say/do on x-split and what comes up on twitch. That's 10 seconds too long. Until you fix this, I will NEVER use twitch again.

I really dont like the additional loading times and chat lag now. Not that it was never there, but its worse now with this new update. Please Twitch, listen to us for once!

i don't go on twitch that much but whenever i do i don't really like it. if these features were fixed it would be a huge difference in the level of enjoyment for everyone.
