STOP Action: Add additional 28 slip Marina in Seton Channel

living here on Seton Lake and watching boaters going thru the channel daily, I see the congestion now and the inability of many of these boaters to follow rules.Let alone having the new proposed docks and the many more boaters in this small area that will make navigation of entering/existing the channel and maneuvering thru the traffic very unsafe! I have seen so much unsafe boating thru this channel now whether it is having boats go fast, trying to pass the boat ahead of them, having their child ride thru the channel behind their boat on a tube, to very windy days and boats get out of control. As it is now, boat traffic gets so very close to the docks of the housing on the channel, there will be so many more accidents. If this happens, there should be a Sherriff patrol in Seton at all times! Come sit on my deck for a week and you will be so amazed at the unsafety value we have here already.

This affects everybody that uses the lake. It's already an unsafe channel. Should we really add 41 more boats to it?

My parents lived on Seton Channel for years very difficult with some not obeying low wake rule. This would really make a bad situation worst.

By stoping this we stop any future change to our beautiful backyard of Lake Minnetonka. :-)

A company that buys property for development then manages it for a profit, NO. From the picture of the additional slips, they intrude drastically into the channel passage way which will only create a higher potential for boat accidents. Originally those slips were public for the Marina Center and now have become a private profit center and they want to add more, along with other traffic increasing ideas. Ruins the wildlife view for surrounding homeowners and increases the noise factor by 28 more boats on an already congested channel. A marina just through the channel on the NW side and another is mabe a mile away to the east towards Fletchers. A brewery in the Center? Just adds more boaters drinking if any of the slips are public or the renters of the slips drink first and then boat. Not smart, not smart at all.

This channel is too busy all ready with a blind spot headed to the south as you come out from the bridge. Also there is a floating bog that will negatively impacted with the added boats in this area.

Very concerned about the safety of boaters and residents of the lake if this proposal goes through!
