I heard from our mayor, today, Denny Walsh, that "They have decided to close the door on this project and not pursue it any longer." Good news for us!

do not allow any further expansion of any and all marinas or other housing and or other building proposals to pass or be approved. Keep our lake area low density especially by/on the kake. Only a narrow 2 lane road for in out access. Expansion-- bad idea

I live on Maxwell Bay and believe this will completely devalue my property. Also, the Mist has not been a success. I don't want another failed multi-family unit on the lake.

Please don't ruin this very special part of the lake with such commercializations.

We need to slow down and consider everything. Safety Ecosystem Prop dredging and currents Aquatic life Neighbors rights I suggest the Lmcd find 2 examples how this has or hasn't worked on other lakes. The LMCD is fair and balanced. Unity is the only way to come to a solution. Unity with all of the above. Get a good lake attorney or your odds are less the 50%. Call me with any questions. Things will work out either way. We are lakers!!!!! Boom!

More transparency is needed in this project to see who all is involved and who the financial beneficiaries will be as well as from the financing for the project will come from. We do not want funds to run short and have an unfinished project standing there for years to come,...

The infrastructure cannot hold this increased level of traffic and will cause too many long-term, localized issues.

Concerned about boat density/landfill on a already populated lake.

high density or commercial development does not make sense in areas where there is no room to provide the needed infrastructure, like wider roads, to support it.

I have lived near North Arm Bay for over 29 years. At one point I wanted to take .84 acres and build a 4-plex - Orono said NO as they do not allow multi-housing. So I built a single home and kept most of the acreage as natural woods. Is Orono now going to change and allow multi-unit housing ? Orono is unique and should stay that way. Too much building on too small of lots now and this will just exacerbate the problem. BTW, does Orono's former mayor, Gabriel Jabbour still own or have an interest in this marina ? Just wondering.......

Keep Orono small and local. This housing project is way to dense for this area of single family housing.

A high density housing development does not make sense on this site - generally high density housing is intended for areas in which there is walkable access to transportation, groceries, schools, & other community services. This is a residential area not identified in the Comp Plan for high density housing - areas for that use have been identified within Orono - within Navarre, where services are walkable and bordering Long Lake ear the Fire Station & along Highway 12 near the schools and other walkable services.

A devlopment of this type is completely out of character with the area. Additionally, eliminating another Marina further reduces access for non-lakeshore residents which runs entirely contrary to DNR and LMCD planning and use guidelines. It is the city and LMCDs job to look out for the interests of ALL residents and users of lake Minnetonka, not just those who live on the lake.
